To be fair to Dann I didn't know he was a Scouser (ze Dann?).
Think he was basically saying he didn't know he was Argentinian and was surprised how good he was. Who knows what managers tell players about new opposition players and whether all players watch much football.

WE have been watching the Hammers since 1899...This is freaking tremendous...what a cracking good side...and playing with commitment..and achieving tremendous results..and a really "thinking" manager...beating Palace Arsenal Liverpool and Manchester C all at "their" place...is beyond awesome....

have been waiting SO long to experience..this...a cracking good side...a side that quality players want to join....and a smart manager...and i think we will NOT be selling our best this time around...

Dann said he didn't even know where Lanzini came from and had never seen him. But he was 'pretty good'.

Unbelievable that an oppo CB hasn't even heard of a player who has played the majority of games for us this season and scored in big games.... piss poor preparation, no wonder they lost. Good!

Re: Crystal Palace v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 1-3
It is a great little side AND for once SQUAD, if we can change the away team getting to play their game at our place then who knows what could happen this season.

That's not a moan by the way Eerie just a tweak to make us a force at home too.

We are a fucking excellent little side.

Won't stop some idiots moaning though.

My neighbour also said we were the best team they've played, rather gloomily when I got back to his motor after the game.

Thought he might be taking the piss at the time.

No, Goals on Sunday
Dann & Delaney of Palace are the guests.
Dann said he didn't even know where Lanzini came from and had never seen him. But he was 'pretty good'.

Damien Delaney of CPFC on Sky asked if Man City were the best team they have played. 'No, I think West Ham are the best team we've seen'.

Answer greeted with disbelief by Ben Shepherd & Chris Kamara
